World Cup 2010 Qualifying Format

32 countries will compete in the 2010 World Cup win in the Premier's Award in the World Cup. The contest will run from June 11 to July 11, 2010, in South Africa and played in nine cities - Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg, Mangaung / Bloemfontein, Nelson Mandela Bay / Port Elizabeth, Nelspruit, Polokwane, Ryustenburh, Tshwane / Pretoria.

European qualifiers began in August 2008 and 53 teams, playing in 9 groups. Eight of these groups are composed of six teams and five groups of nine cities. Each team plays every other team in the group twice (home and away) and at the end of this circular nine group winners are awarded the World Cup. 8 best second place then in a couple of four home and away series and the winners of each series received last four European qualification places.

North, Central America and Caribbean
35 teams, 3.5 places

Three qualifiers qualifying reduce the 35 member states to the six final contest the fourth and final qualifying round.
Round one: The first 12 local groups and are buying up teams of 13-35 years playing with one another, ultimately reduce the field to 24 teams.
Second round: 24 other groups are paired into 12 home and away series. The winners go to the third round.
Round Three: Other 12 teams divided into three groups of four teams. In each group, teams play two times by other teams (round trip) and at the end of the series, the top two teams from each group to travel around four.
Round four: The final stage is circular and away series between the teams, and finally, the first three groups received last World Cup. The fourth place team plays home and away playoff against the fifth placed team from South America.

Oceania
10 teams, 0.5 places

Qualification Round 1 has actually occurred in the South Pacific Games. As the highest ranking teams, New Zealand received a bye in round two. The remaining 9 groups (Papua New Guinea has withdrawn from the Pacific Games) participated in the South Pacific Games and three major groups included in Series 2. These three teams and New Zealand formed a circular house and away from the group. Winner (New Zealand) will compete for the qualifier against the fifth placed Asian Confederation for a place in the World Cup.

South America
10 teams, 4.5 places
