WORLD CUP 2010

Kamis, 20 Mei 2010.
FIFA World C
up 2010 will be the 19th FIFA World Cup 2010 football tournament of international stature. Will be held between June 11 and July 11, 2010, South Africa. FIFA World Cup 2010 will be the culmination of a qualification process which began in August 2007 and involved 204 of 208 national teams
in the Cup. As such, it coincides with the 2008 Olympics as a
sporting event with most competing nations.
This is the first time the tournament was organized by an African country after South Africa beat Morocco and Egypt in a bidding process for the entire continent. This decision has left the Oceania Football Confederation, the federal government is not, however, to host the 2010 World Cup tickets. Italy are the reigning champions. The draw for the finals was held December 4, 2009, in Cape Town.
Africa was chosen as the venue for the 2010 World Cup as part of a new policy of rotat
ing the event between football confederations (which was later abandoned in October 2007). Five African countries bidding to host the World Cup 2010:
Egypt
Libya and Tunisia (co-organization)
